5ff1fac819 misc: Rename Debug namespace as debug

974a47dfb9 misc: Adopt the gem5 namespace 
Apply the gem5 namespace to the codebase.

Some anonymous namespaces could theoretically be removed,
but since this change's main goal was to keep conflicts
at a minimum, it was decided not to modify much the
general shape of the files.

A few missing comments of the form "// namespace X" that
occurred before the newly added "} // namespace gem5"
have been added for consistency.

std out should not be included in the gem5 namespace, so
they weren't.

ProtoMessage has not been included in the gem5 namespace,
since I'm not familiar with how proto works.

Regarding the SystemC files, although they belong to gem5,
they actually perform integration between gem5 and SystemC;
therefore, it deserved its own separate namespace.

Files that are automatically generated have been included
in the gem5 namespace.

The .isa files currently are limited to a single namespace.
This limitation should be later removed to make it easier
to accomodate a better API.

Regarding the files in util, gem5:: was prepended where
suitable. Notice that this patch was tested as much as
possible given that most of these were already not
previously compiling.

49000fc3b6 base: Surround a DPRINTFS parameter in ()s. 
Since DPRINTFS is a macro, its arguments need to be properly wrapped so
they expand as expected when used in expressions. This wasn't being done
for the s argument which was used as s->name(). If s contained some
other operator which had lower precedence than ->, the -> would happen
first to whatever was on the right hand side.

072cddd765 base,arch,dev,mem: Always compile DPRINTFs, even if they're disabled. 
The code in the body of a DPRINTF will always be compiled, even if it's
disabled. If TRACING_ON is false, the if around it will short circuit to
false without actually running any code to check the specified
condition, and the body of the if will be elided by the compiler as
unreachable code.

This creates a more consistent environment whether TRACING_ON is on or
not, so that variables which are only used in DPRINTF don't have to be
guarded by their own TRACING_ON #ifs at the call site. It also ensures
that the code inside DPRINTF is always checked to be valid code, even if
the DPRINTF itself will never go off. This helps avoid syntax errors,
etc, which aren't found because of the configuration of the build being
tested with.

45341a8430 base: Add DPRINTFV macro 
This macro is directly expecting a Debug::Flag instance as a first
argument instead of simply the name of the debug flag, and it is
forwarding it with no preprocessing to the underlying logic
(dprintf_flag).
This is different from the common DPRINTF, which is converting the
first argument into a flag and into a string literal.

This is useful if we want to pass the DebugFlag from the subclass to
the superclass. This makes it possible to set tracepoints in the
Base class logic, and let the Derived classes define the flag which
will enable the tracepoint

A more concrete example is Arm Table Walker, which is using a DmaPort.
If we want to log the table walker port activity, we are using the
--debug-flags=DMA, which is unconvenient as it will contain the
logs from every DMA device in the simulation

eb9e11ad96 base: Move Named class to its own file 
Named can be useful in instances where trace is not required.
Because of that it has been moved to its own file.

Named is intended for public inheritance; thus it should have
a virtual destructor.

Added a unit test for the Named class.

c8cde1fefa base: Use M5_UNLIKELY with conditional DPRINTF family functions. 
Most DPRINTFs will be skipped over most of the time, and when they
aren't they'll already have overhead from string handling, output to the
console and/or a file, etc, which will drown out the behavior of a
branch.

d64173549b base,sim: Move DTRACE into base/debug.hh. 
All other considerations aside, DTRACE probably fits best in trace.hh
where it is now, but unfortunately that creates an awkward dependence
between that file and eventq.hh and eventq_impl.hh. DTRACE only depends
on flags in the Debug namespace and a universal macro TRACING_ON, so
even though it won't be alongside the things it's most logically
associated with, it will be alongside all of its dependencies.

An alternative would be to re-implement DTRACE in eventq_impl.hh which
wouldn't be too big of a problem because it's so simple, but it's
cleaner and less error prone to still keep a single definition.

Because base/trace.hh includes base/debug.hh, any consumers expecting to
find DTRACE in base/trace.hh will still get that definition, even though
it's no longer direct.

2841aaae7e base: create DPRINTF_UNCONDITIONAL 
This is similar to DPRINTFN, but it also prints a given flag to allow
communicating to users which flag enabled a given log.

This is useful for logs which are enabled with DTRACE instead of directly
with DPRINTF.

105b2c8914 base: add the --debug-flag to DPRINTF output with FmtFlag 
This makes it easier to determine which messages come from which
flags when enabling multiple flags at once.

This commit covers the bulk of the debug messages, which use the DPRINTF*
family of macros. There however macros that use DTRACE to check for
enable, those will be covered in future patches.

ca4c0a168a base,python: Fix to allow multiple --debug-ignore values. 
When adding multiple SimObjects to --debug-ignore, either separating the values with
a colon or adding multiple --debug-ignore flags, the previous code only ignored the
last SimObject in the list.  This changeset adds and uses new `ObjectMatch::add` and
`Logger::addIgnore` methods to make the functionality of the flag consistent with
its description.

02881a7bf3 base: remove Trace::enabled flag 
The DTRACE() macro tests both Trace::enabled and the specific flag. This
change uses the same administrative interface for enabling/disabling
tracing, but masks the SimpleFlags settings directly. This eliminates a
load for every DTRACE() test, e.g. DPRINTF.

960935a5bd base: Reimplement the DPRINTF mechanism in a Logger class 
This patch adds a Logger class encapsulating dprintf.  This allows
variants of DPRINTF logging to be constructed and substituted in
place of the default behaviour.

The Logger provides a logMessage(when, name, format, ...) member
function like Trace::dprintf and a getOstream member function to
use a raw ostream for logging.

A class OstreamLogger is provided which generates the customary
debugging output with Trace::OstreamLogger::logMessage being the
old Trace::dprintf.

70176fecd1 base: Replace the internal varargs stuff with C++11 constructs 
We currently use our own home-baked support for type-safe variadic
functions. This is confusing and somewhat limited (e.g., cprintf only
supports a limited number of arguments). This changeset converts all
uses of our internal varargs support to use C++11 variadic macros.

0e8a90f06b cpu: `Minor' in-order CPU model 
This patch contains a new CPU model named `Minor'. Minor models a four
stage in-order execution pipeline (fetch lines, decompose into
macroops, decompose macroops into microops, execute).

The model was developed to support the ARM ISA but should be fixable
to support all the remaining gem5 ISAs. It currently also works for
Alpha, and regressions are included for ARM and Alpha (including Linux
boot).

Documentation for the model can be found in src/doc/inside-minor.doxygen and
its internal operations can be visualised using the Minorview tool
utils/minorview.py.

Minor was designed to be fairly simple and not to engage in a lot of
instruction annotation. As such, it currently has very few gathered
stats and may lack other gem5 features.

Minor is faster than the o3 model. Sample results:

eddac53ff6 trace: reimplement the DTRACE function so it doesn't use a vector 
At the same time, rename the trace flags to debug flags since they
have broader usage than simply tracing.  This means that
--trace-flags is now --debug-flags and --trace-help is now --debug-help

d55b25cde6 Move all of the parameters of the Root SimObject so they are 
directly configured by python.  Move stuff from root.(cc|hh) to
core.(cc|hh) since it really belogs there now.
In the process, simplify how ticks are used in the python code.

a24ccc1ef2 Get rid of the Trace ParamContext and give python direct 
access to enabling/disabling tracing.  Command line is
unchanged except for the removal of --trace-cycle since
it's not so clear what that means.

1f834b569c Get rid of the gross operator,()/variadic macro hack 
that made ccprintf and friends work, turn it into a
normal function (though it still has a slightly strange
implementation.)  All instances of variadic macros
are not yet removed, but I know how, and it will happen.

One side effect of this new implementation is that a
cprintf statement can now only have 16 parameters, though
it's easy enough to raise this number if needed.

ba2eae5d52 New directory structure: 
- simulator source now in 'src' subdirectory
- imported files from 'ext' repository
- support building in arbitrary places, including
outside of the source tree.  See comment at top
