Calls to queueMemoryRead and queueMemoryWrite do not consider the size of the queue between ruby directories and DRAMCtrl which causes infinite buffering in the queued port between the two. This adds a MessageBuffer in between which uses enqueues in SLICC and is therefore size checked before any SLICC transaction pushing to the buffer can occur, removing the infinite buffering between the two. To build gem5, you will need the following software: g++ or clang, Python (gem5 links in the Python interpreter), SCons, SWIG, zlib, m4, and lastly protobuf if you want trace capture and playback support. Once you have all dependencies resolved, type 'scons build/<ARCH>/gem5.opt' where ARCH is one of ARM, NULL, MIPS, POWER, SPARC, or X86.
