773368d68d arch-arm: Consolidate register related files into a directory.
Create a directory called "regs" which holds files, primarily headers,
related to registers, with the exception of registers.hh. Hopefully
registers.hh will go away in the not too distant future, removing this
exception.

91d83cc8a1 misc: Standardize the way create() constructs SimObjects.
The create() method on Params structs usually instantiate SimObjects
using a constructor which takes the Params struct as a parameter
somehow. There has been a lot of needless variation in how that was
done, making it annoying to pass Params down to base classes. Some of
the different forms were:

const Params &
Params &
Params *
const Params *
Params const*

This change goes through and fixes up every constructor and every
create() method to use the const Params & form. We use a reference
because the Params struct should never be null. We use const because
neither the create method nor the consuming object should modify the
record of the parameters as they came in from the config. That would
make consuming them not idempotent, and make it impossible to tell what
the actual simulation configuration was since it would change from any
user visible form (config script, config.ini, dot pdf output).

9884641603 base, arch, sim, cpu: Move object file loader components into a namespace.
The components in base/loader were moved into a namespace called
Loader. This will make it easier to add loader components with fairly
short natural names which don't invite name collisions.

gem5 should use namespaces more in general for that reason and to make
it easier to write independent components without having to worry about
name collisions being added in the future.

Unfortunately this namespace has the same name as a class used to load
an object file into a process object. These names can be disambiguated
because the Process loader is inside the Process scope and the Loader
namespace is at global scope, but it's still confusing to read.

Fortunately, this shouldn't last for very long since the responsibility
for loading Processes is going to move to a fake OS object which will
expect to load a particular type of Process, for instance, fake 64 bit
x86 linux will load either 32 or 64 bit x86 processes.

That means that the capability to feed any binary that matches the
current build into gem5 and have gem5 figure out what to do with it
will likely be going away in the future. That's likely for the best,
since it will force users to be more explicit about what they're trying
to do, ie what OS they want to try to load a given binary, and also
will prevent loading two or more Processes which are for different OSes
to the same system, something that's possible today as far as I know
since there are no consistency checks.

Setting syscall args isn't really something we need to do in gem5,
since that will be taken care of by the code actually calling the
syscall. We just need to be able to retrieve the value it put there.

6efe7e1abf sim-se: Different HWCAP for ArmProcess32/64
AArch32 and AArch64 have different HWCAP flags in Linux, but we are
currently using AArch32 HWCAP flags to initialize the aux vector of both
AArch32 and AArch64 binaries.

This patch also fixes a bug that was introduced by running in SE mode a
target binary compiled with glibc > 2.18. Using AArch32 flags
resulted on CPUID flag being set for AArch64. This incorrectly tells
libc that emulation of the midr_el1 is supported.
In FullSystem this might work, but since we are in Syscall Emulation
there is no OS behind emulating the mrs midr_el1 instruction.

By separating AArch32 flags from AArch64 flags we are turning off the
CPUID hwcap flag in SE mode.

3886c4a8f2 syscall_emul: [patch 5/22] remove LiveProcess class and use Process instead

481eb6ae80 arm: Fixes based on UBSan and static analysis
Another churn to clean up undefined behaviour, mostly ARM, but some
parts also touching the generic part of the code base.

Most of the fixes are simply ensuring that proper intialisation. One
of the more subtle changes is the return type of the sign-extension,
which is changed to uint64_t. This is to avoid shifting negative
values (undefined behaviour) in the ISA code.

5efbb4442a mem: adding architectural page table support for SE mode
This patch enables the use of page tables that are stored in system memory
and respect x86 specification, in SE mode. It defines an architectural
page table for x86 as a MultiLevelPageTable class and puts a placeholder
class for other ISAs page tables, giving the possibility for future
implementation.

Note: AArch64 and AArch32 interworking is not supported. If you use an AArch64

in a later patch.

Note: Virtualization is only supported in AArch32 mode. This will also be fixed
in a later patch.

0acd2a96e5 scons: Add warning for overloaded virtual functions
A derived function with a different signature than a base class
function will result in the base class function of the same name being
hidden. The parameter list and return type for the member function in
the derived class must match those of the member function in the base
class, otherwise the function in the derived class will hide the
function in the base class and no polymorphic behaviour will occur.

This patch addresses these warnings by ensuring a unique function name
to avoid (unintentionally) hiding any functions.

3f722b991f Syscalls: Make system calls access arguments like a stack, not an array.
When accessing arguments for a syscall, the position of an argument depends on
the policies of the ISA, how much space preceding arguments took up, and the
"alignment" of the index for this particular argument into the number of
possible storate locations. This change adjusts getSyscallArg to take its
index parameter by reference instead of value and to adjust it to point to the
possible location of the next argument on the stack, basically just after the
current one. This way, the rules for the new argument can be applied locally
without knowing about other arguments since those have already been taken into
account implicitly.

All system calls have also been changed to reflect the new interface. In a
number of cases this made the implementation clearer since it encourages
arguments to be collected in one place in order and then used as necessary
later, as opposed to scattering them throughout the function or using them in
place in long expressions. It also discourages using getSyscallArg over and
over to retrieve the same value when a temporary would do the job.
