9313294efe misc: Remove AMD license addition
Remove the line "For use for simulation and test purposes only" in files
were AMD is the only copyright holder listed in the header. This happens
to be the case for all files where this line exists, removing it
completely from gem5.

974a47dfb9 misc: Adopt the gem5 namespace
Apply the gem5 namespace to the codebase.

Some anonymous namespaces could theoretically be removed,
but since this change's main goal was to keep conflicts
at a minimum, it was decided not to modify much the
general shape of the files.

A few missing comments of the form "// namespace X" that
occurred before the newly added "} // namespace gem5"
have been added for consistency.

std out should not be included in the gem5 namespace, so
they weren't.

ProtoMessage has not been included in the gem5 namespace,
since I'm not familiar with how proto works.

Regarding the SystemC files, although they belong to gem5,
they actually perform integration between gem5 and SystemC;
therefore, it deserved its own separate namespace.

Files that are automatically generated have been included
in the gem5 namespace.

The .isa files currently are limited to a single namespace.
This limitation should be later removed to make it easier
to accomodate a better API.

Regarding the files in util, gem5:: was prepended where
suitable. Notice that this patch was tested as much as
possible given that most of these were already not
previously compiling.

835607d497 sim: Add serialization for file descriptor array
Add serialization of the fd array when checkpointing in SE mode.
With this patch, host backed files are restored.
Further work needs to be done for restoring other types of
file descriptor.

As the file path saved is relative, on restoration of the checkpoint,
it may fail to open the file if the path is no longer valid.
If it cannot open the file, it will exit the simulation
with a meaningful error message.

edccff8f23 sim: Generalize the arrayParamOut and arrayParamIn functions.
These had been written specifically for the vector, list, set, and C
style array types. This change reworks them to share an implementation,
and to work with more general types. The arrayParamOut method requires
std::begin() and std::end() to accept that type, and the arrayParamIn
method requires either insert or push_back, or the type to be an array.

Also fix up a couple of files which accidentally depended on includes in
the serialize headers which are no longer necessary.

aa56ed4dc5 syscall_emul: style changes and FDArray refactor
Some members were defined as public when they should have been
privately declared so these were moved to the appropriate spot.

The operator[] had inline specified for for an in-class
definition which is redundant since inline definitions are
always implicitly inline.

Private members had the leading underscore applied to them to
denote that they're private (consistent with style guide).

Changed static const defined class variable into a constexpr
with brace-list initialization.

2367198921 syscall_emul: [PATCH 15/22] add clone/execve for threading and multiprocess simulations
Modifies the clone system call and adds execve system call. Requires allowing
processes to steal thread contexts from other processes in the same system
object and the ability to detach pieces of process state (such as MemState)
to allow dynamic sharing.

d3d983caf9 syscall_emul: [patch 10/22] refactor fdentry and add fdarray class
Several large changes happen in this patch.

The FDEntry class is rewritten so that file descriptors now correspond to
types: 'File' which is normal file-backed file with the file open on the
host machine, 'Pipe' which is a pipe that has been opened on the host machine,
and 'Device' which does not have an open file on the host yet acts as a pseudo
device with which to issue ioctls. Other types which might be added in the
future are directory entries and sockets (off the top of my head).

The FDArray class was create to hold most of the file descriptor handling
that was stuffed into the Process class. It uses shared pointers and
the std::array type to hold the FDEntries mentioned above.

The changes to these two classes needed to be propagated out to the rest
of the code so there were quite a few changes for that. Also, comments were
added where I thought they were needed to help others and extend our
DOxygen coverage.
