d02ea0dfbb arch-arm, cpu, configs: Add new Op Classes for Matrix Multiply insts
Add SimdMatMultAcc and SimdFloatMatMultAcc Op Classes for the SVE
Matrix Multiply Accumulate instructions in the SVE F32MM, F64MM and
I8MM extensions.

Initial latencies have been set to be the same as SimdMultAcc and
SimdFloatMultAcc respectively.

fe8eda9c4e arch, arch-arm, cpu: Add matrix reg support to the ISA Parser
The ISA parser now emits the code required to access matrix
registers. In the case where a register is both a source and a
destination, the ISA parser generates appropriate code to make sure
that the contents of the source is copied to the destination. This is
required for the O3 CPU which treats these as two different physical
registers, and hence data is lost if not explicitly preserved.

974a47dfb9 misc: Adopt the gem5 namespace
Apply the gem5 namespace to the codebase.

Some anonymous namespaces could theoretically be removed,
but since this change's main goal was to keep conflicts
at a minimum, it was decided not to modify much the
general shape of the files.

A few missing comments of the form "// namespace X" that
occurred before the newly added "} // namespace gem5"
have been added for consistency.

std out should not be included in the gem5 namespace, so
they weren't.

ProtoMessage has not been included in the gem5 namespace,
since I'm not familiar with how proto works.

Regarding the SystemC files, although they belong to gem5,
they actually perform integration between gem5 and SystemC;
therefore, it deserved its own separate namespace.

Files that are automatically generated have been included
in the gem5 namespace.

The .isa files currently are limited to a single namespace.
This limitation should be later removed to make it easier
to accomodate a better API.

Regarding the files in util, gem5:: was prepended where
suitable. Notice that this patch was tested as much as
possible given that most of these were already not
previously compiling.

c4cc3145cd arch-arm,cpu: Add initial support for Arm SVE
This changeset adds initial support for the Arm Scalable Vector Extension
(SVE) by implementing:
- support for most data-processing instructions (no loads/stores yet);
- basic system-level support.

6c72c35519 cpu, arm: Distinguish Float* and SimdFloat*, create FloatMem* opClass
Modify the opClass assigned to AArch64 FP instructions from SimdFloat* to
Float*. Also create the FloatMemRead and FloatMemWrite opClasses, which
distinguishes writes to the INT and FP register banks.
Change the latency of (Simd)FloatMultAcc to 5, based on the Cortex-A72,
where the "latency" of FMADD is 3 if the next instruction is a FMADD and
has only the augend to destination dependency, otherwise it's 7 cycles.

4333549575 cpu: o3: replace issueLatency with bool pipelined
Currently, each op class has a parameter issueLat that denotes the cycles after
which another op of the same class can be issued.  As of now, this latency can
either be one cycle (fully pipelined) or same as execution latency of the op
(not at all pipelined).  The fact that issueLat is a parameter of type Cycles
makes one believe that it can be set to any value.  To avoid the confusion, the
parameter is being renamed as 'pipelined' with type boolean.  If set to true,
the op would execute in a fully pipelined fashion. Otherwise, it would execute
in an unpipelined fashion.

c0ab52799c sim: Include object header files in SWIG interfaces
When casting objects in the generated SWIG interfaces, SWIG uses
classical C-style casts ( (Foo *)bar; ). In some cases, this can
degenerate into the equivalent of a reinterpret_cast (mainly if only a
forward declaration of the type is available). This usually works for
most compilers, but it is known to break if multiple inheritance is
used anywhere in the object hierarchy.

This patch introduces the cxx_header attribute to Python SimObject
definitions, which should be used to specify a header to include in
the SWIG interface. The header should include the declaration of the
wrapped object. We currently don't enforce header the use of the
header attribute, but a warning will be generated for objects that do
not use it.

287ea1a081 Param: Transition to Cycles for relevant parameters
This patch is a first step to using Cycles as a parameter type. The
main affected modules are the CPUs and the Ruby caches. There are
definitely plenty more places that are affected, but this patch serves
as a starting point to making the transition.

An important part of this patch is to actually enable parameters to be
specified as Param.Cycles which involves some changes to params.py.

125237d357 Rename enum from OpType to OpClass so it's consistent with the
real thing.  Also rename the null case to something that can
be a C++ symbol.

35147170f9 Move SimObject python files alongside the C++ and fix
the SConscript files so that only the objects that are
actually available in a given build are compiled in.
Remove a bunch of files that aren't used anymore.
